    Responsibilities:

  • Support initiation and follow up on RFI queries
  • Work with Construction Manager on clarifications required from engineering
  • Evaluate plans with the Foremen and General Foremen.
  • Develop and maintain a backlog of executable work fonts.
  • Work with Safety and QC to address any concerns with engineering packages
  • Participate in weekly scaffold and equipment coordination meetings.
  • Develop hydro-test packages with field engineering.
  • Produce reports on individual system percentage completion as required.
  • Assist Turnover Coordinator to build turnover packages.
  • Participate in weekly cross discipline coordination meetings.
  • Generate and track Request for Information (RFI) based upon the request of the Foremen
  • Ability to read and understand document in Bluebeam.
  • Perform routine audit
  • Develop report on status
  • Develop and maintain relations with the client
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Job Specific Knowledge:

  • Minimum 2 – 5 years' experience on industrial construction projects as a journeyman tradesperson or other construction project specialist such as a field engineer or technologist with hands on construction experience.
  • Industry Specific Experience:

  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Basic understanding of project scheduling and estimating techniques
  • Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • Alberta Industry Trades Certification or
  • Technical Diploma or Engineering degree is preferred
  • OneWay Element:
