Education:

Diploma or Certificate in hospitality or equivalent combination of education and experience and Food Safe Level 1 certificate.


Job Duties:


  • Recruit staff and oversee staff training;
  • Provide feedback, performance reviews and corrective measures to ensure employee performance meets company standards;
  • Set staff schedules to ensure operational needs are met;
  • Ensure operations are planned, and executed to ensure optimal customer service and experience;
  • Evaluate operations on an ongoing basis to determine where efficiencies can be found, and to identify and correct deficiencies;
  • Control and monitor inventory, and ensure adequate supplies are provided for daily operational needs;
- coordinate month-end food and beverage inventory;

  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers for food and other business needs;
  • Resolve customer complaints, and support frontline staff to ensure proper handling
of customer feedback;

  • Maintain and demonstrate expert knowledge of products, events and promotions;
  • Participate in promotional activities including social media, events and photo sessions;
  • Monitor sales, business expenses, promotions etc.;
  • Manage reservations, food orders, and catering services for the business;
  • Oversee operations to ensure health and safety protocols, processes, and practices are strictly adhered adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Manage the restaurant's budget, including monitoring expenses and controlling costs.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with pointofsale (POS) systems and other restaurant technology.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices.
