ABOUT THE ROLE

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

5 years experience in fullcycle accounting and payroll.
Experience in customer service, or guest/member relations.
Formal education in Accounting (Bachelor's degree is preferred).
High level working knowledge of computerized accounting systems required.
Knowledge of the private club industry considered an asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Process salaried and hourly payroll and resolves all payroll related issues.
Prepare and post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and all balance sheet reconciliations.
Attend committee meetings and liaise with Club Members, the Board of Directors, and external parties.
Ensure club's financial policies are implemented and followed.
Provide training, support, and development to accounting staff.
Act as the key point of contact for payroll in the implementation of a new HRIS.
Assist with yearend audit.
Provide back up support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as required.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

SALARY/BENEFITS
- $65,000-$85,000 per year commensurate with experience.
