    Buckerfield's Duncan – Seasonal Garden Center Associate – Starting Rate: $17.85 / hour – Weekend availability required

    Buckerfield's Duncanis seeking to hire a seasonal Garden Centre Associate to join our fast paced, growing, knowledgeable team. This is a seasonal / term position ending May 31, 2026. The term may be extended or made continuous for the right candidate, should an opportunity arise.

    The incumbent will be responsible for providing ongoing support and assistance to garden centre operations and other areas of the Store. Will maintain and merchandise nursery inventory, serve customers, and process cash register transactions, plus other duties that may be assigned by the Store Manager. Plant and garden knowledge and experience would be preferential

    Qualifications:

    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • A great attitude and willingness to learn
    • Garden Centre experience is an asset
    • Some heavy lifting required

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve and help customers
    • Maintain a clear understanding of products carried and sold by Buckerfield's
    • Process cash register transactions
    • Participate in the maintenance of display, housekeeping and merchandising standards
    • Other duties assigned by the Store Manager

    Availability:

    • Position to be filled immediately
    • 16-32 hours per week
    • Weekend availability required
    • May require you to work weekends and statutory holidays, as scheduled by the Store Manager
