Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report changes to healthcare professionals
- Help with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration for residents or clients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health care, or community care settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs in accordance with care plans
- Knowledge of specialized care such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice support, or memory care is preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as group home experience or social work background are advantageous

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
