    Job Summary

    We seek a highly motivated Director of Domestic Student Recruitment to oversee recruitment strategies and activities attracting domestic students. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, relationship building, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve enrollment goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies, analyzing market trends and overseeing outreach programs to attract diverse students.
    • Build and maintain relationships with high school counsellors, community organizations, and stakeholders, representing the institution at events and developing strategic partnerships.
    • Oversee the domestic application process, collaborating with admissions to review applications and streamline procedures.
    • Track recruitment activities, generate reports, and make data-driven improvements.
    • Collaborate with departments for a coordinated recruitment approach and communicate updates to stakeholders.
    • Portray a positive university image, provide advisory services, and train high school counsellors, guiding students through the application process and matching them with university offerings.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field required; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum eight years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, enrollment management, or systems development.
    • Knowledge of domestic student recruitment strategies, market trends, and best practices in higher education.
    • Good knowledge of the Canadian education system, especially tertiary education, with desired contacts in the local community and with high school counsellors.
    • Familiarity with data management systems and tools for tracking recruitment activities and analyzing data.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
    • Proficient in strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and analytical reasoning.
