Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals in various care settings. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will assist with daily activities, monitor patient well-being, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for those in your care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or hospice care. The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive, and eager to provide personalized patient-centered care that promotes independence and dignity.

Duties

  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs.
  • Monitor and document vital signs and observe patients closely for changes in condition or behavior.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of distress or deterioration.
  • Excellent understanding of ADLs and ability to assist patients with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts safely.
  • Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's disease.

Capable of working independently or as part of a team while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
