Matrix HR is seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our exceptional client in the Kitimat region. This position will be responsible for transporting people around a large industrial site, with occasional trip into town.

The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills and a thorough knowledge of industrial driving, as well as experience in maintaining vehicles and ensuring they are always clean and ready for use along with other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport personnel between various locations within the industrial site and into town when

required.

• Operate and maintain company vehicles and ensure they are always in good working condition.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure they are safe to drive.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Top up vehicles with necessary materials such as fuel, oil, and water.
• Follow all traffic and safety laws, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logs, including fuel and maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members to ensure that tasks are

completed safely, efficiently and on time.

• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers and maintain a professional demeanor at all

times.


Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the local area and knowledge of the best routes to take.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift to 50 pounds.
• Experience in maintaining vehicles and conducting routine maintenance checks is a plus.
