Responsibilities:

Research and analyzing the data from the government, business sectors in relations to the business potentials.
Gathering data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
Research and analyzing consumer preferences to determine the potential sales of a product or service.
Conducting research on specific market conditions.
Analyzing prices, methods of marketing, and distribution.
Devising and evaluating methods for data collection.
Using statistical software to analyze and interpret data.
Simplifying complex data into a userfriendly format, such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids.
Preparing and presenting reports to clients and management.
Assisting in the development of sales and marketing plans.
Assisting and supporting the other administrative and operation issues.
Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

A bachelor's or associate degree in economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or related field.
Understanding of Canada and Ontario culture, lifestyle, demographic and consumer behaviors.
Experience in applied research or data management may be advantageous.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills.
The ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports.
Excellent problemsolving, communication, and teamworking skills.
Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software.
Club and hospitality experience in marketing and memberships.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
