Description

The cardiology service at
Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre is welcoming a dedicated
Veterinary Assistant to our team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Animal care such as feeding, walking, and cleaning kennels;
Animal handling for the Specialist and Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to perform examinations and procedures;
Assisting with positioning for radiographs, bloodwork, EKG and ultrasound;
Lab sample processing;
File organization and maintenance;
Other duties as directed by the Specialist or RVT;

The position is extremely dynamic, and offers an interesting and diverse day-to-day experience_

Schedule:

Veterinary assistants in our hospital are encouraged to grow and expand their skill sets.
