Do you want to be part of our project team?_

The
Electrical Project Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Creating technical solutions from discovery to completion
  • Reading/understanding electrical and basic mechanical drawings
  • Management of several projects simultaneously
  • Manage projects for safety, quality, productivity, asset reliability, cost reduction and other business objective improvement.
  • Hi Voltage, Mid Voltage and Low Voltage
  • Onsite supervision and management of contractors
  • Preparation of work and supply scopes for Contractors, specialist suppliers, OEM
  • Time scheduling and pursuance of project progress
  • Monitoring job durations and costs
  • Integrating new installations into existing infrastructure
  • Engaging and liaising with Engineering offices to create solutions
  • Working in a Harsh Work Environment (Weather)

Qualifications:
(Education & Experience)

  • Journeyman
  • Electrician license 309A
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent credentials), registered or eligible for P. Eng registration, or Senior Electrical Engineering Technologist with significant relevant experience would be an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the cement or other heavy machinery manufacturing industry
  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory position of the same industry
  • Understanding of existing electrical installation
  • Knowledge of Process Automatization
  • Ability to work selfdirected and selfsufficient
  • Able to adjust to changing priorities
  • High flexibility with working hours
  • Ability to manage stress, to provide assistance and to encourage the team in critical situations
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Maintenance software
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic English is required for this role
