Introduction
Experience off-grid living and the raw beauty of the Scottish Highlands through the Husky Ranch Scotland project. Set against a backdrop of glacial valleys, ancient castles, and dramatic landscapes, this unique volunteer opportunity invites you to care for a pack of around 50 Siberian Huskies and even try dog mushing
Run by an experienced team, including a board member of the World Sleddog Association, the ranch trains sled dogs for both snow and dryland racing and offers husky rides to the public. As a volunteer, you'll assist with daily dog care, training, and ranch maintenance, gaining hands-on insight into the life of a working husky kennel.
Winter brings the thrill of dog sledding, while summer opens up opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking in the surrounding wilderness. It's a physically demanding role but incredibly rewarding for those seeking adventure, animal care experience, and a deeper connection with nature.
The minimum stay is 4 weeks, offering you a truly immersive and unforgettable journey in one of Scotland's most awe-inspiring regions.
