The Opportunity:


The Banking Administrator works with and provides support to Property Accountants (PA's) and Property Administrators (PMA's) relating to daily, monthly, and annual banking and cash management activities.

In addition, the Banking Administrator will take on additional banking related duties as required and as delegated and provide additional support to the accounting and banking administration groups as required.


What You Will Do:


  • Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Timely followup of outstanding items
  • Communication with property administration staff regarding banking activity as required
  • Additional financial support as workloads dictates
  • Filing

Who You Are:

Education
  • High School diploma plus a minimum 6 months postsecondary education;

Experience

  • Previous experience completing bank reconciliations; Must possess an aptitude for numbers.

Communication & Relationship Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships; team player.

Organizational & Multi-Tasking
  • Ability to allocate one's time effectively and work under pressure; ability to prioritize workload; ability to work at a detailed level; willingness to learn in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and change.

Computer Skills

  • Basic skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of JD Edwards an asset.
