The Specialized Sales Force (SSF) is an exciting and dynamic national sales channel within TD responsible for the acquisition of new Mortgage and Home Equity FlexLine business as well as facilitating the sale of Credit Protection.

Our team is responsible for delivering new customers to TD, contributing to both the Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) market share, based on a commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, each Mobile Mortgage Specialist (MMS) and Branch Mortgage Specialist (BMS) leverages a distinct discovery process and collaborative approach to building a financing strategy that reflects each client's unique needs and delivers the full spectrum of TD products and services.

The National Office Specialized Home Financing is a support team accountable for the development and execution of channel strategies, delivering business performance insights to drive growth and increase productivity as well as the creation and the implementation of policies, processes, and capabilities supporting our MMS, BMS and Broker channels.

To deliver on our mandate successfully, the business works closely with our Realtor and Builder Partnerships, One TD partners, RESL Home Owners Journey (HOJ) and the Channels leadership team.

Job Details


The Manager, Colleague Experience for National Office, Specialized Home Financing, will lead the planning and execution of colleague engagement tactics for MMS, BMS, Broker and Credit Application Review Team (CART).

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Channel Enablement & Adoption Readiness, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the centralized CBP Events and R&R teams, acting as the conduit to the distribution channels, being the voice of SSF for an exceptional, best-in-class colleague experience
  • Ongoing management and coordination of recognition programs including ICON, ICON Premier, Summit, Bravo & Employee Appreciation Week (EAW). Includes working closely with communications, evolving the experiences throughout events/activities, and providing a critical lens into how to add value and make an impact to our colleagues.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the planned event after execution, and analyze feedback from various internal attendees and/or partners
  • Provide functional / business level communications on event planning activities to ensure messages to stakeholders and /or internal / external partners are consistent, appropriate, and aligned to business strategies and management direction
  • Provide frequent insights for action on adoption of colleague engagement tactics and recognition programs.
  • Oversee established key milestones, timing/sequencing, risk assessment & change management plan for all R&R and events initiatives.
  • Leverage relationship management skills while working closely with key internal & external stakeholders including HR, CAPA, Legal/Compliance and other teams within RESL
  • Ensure respective events and programs are well managed, meets business needs, and aligns with business priorities
  • Identifying all project dependencies and risks, ensuring they are effectively managed and ensuring mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks
  • Influence senior leaders within RESL using storytelling and written/verbal communication skills to gain agreement on key strategic decisions.
  • Keep others informed and up to date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to daytoday activities

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience executing on strategies and delivering strong results in both the short and long term
  • Strong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Ability to conduct valueadded business analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business unit activities, including adhoc reviews, reporting, attribution analysis and executive summaries
  • Ability to negotiate and influence internally and externally
  • Skillful communication (written and verbal), negotiation and partnership skills to balance stakeholder input but remain objective to reach the right outcome ability to stay resilient under pressure
  • Robust organizational skills and project management discipline. Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to connect strategy to effective execution, implementation, and evaluation of activities to ensure effective completion
  • Travel (in/outside Canada) is required for this position
