Reporting to the Manager, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Operations, or designate, provide tier levels 1 to 3 Enterprise Infrastructure technical support, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of corporate computer systems and telephone equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Providing expertise in assessment, analysis, problem resolution, and issue prevention for hardware, software, security, access control, networking, and connectivity
  • Managing incident tickets and creating related supporting records/documentation
  • Researching and/or escalating information, bug fixes and feature requests, and coordinating with the development team or related vendors to resolve problems as appropriate
  • Configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and repairing where appropriate (e.g. various hardware and peripheral devices).
  • Evaluating users' needs, define technical problems, and work with other ITS staff to determine solutions
  • Performing ongoing/scheduled activities to maintain, monitor, and enhance overall system performance
  • Supporting onsite and roaming users with hardware, software, LAN and wireless configuration and connectivity
  • Enterprise Phone System Infrastructure Management,
  • Enterprise Mobile Device Management System,
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Support, and
  • Automated Operating System and Script Deployment

Requirements:


  • Completion of four (4) year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, plus four (4) years of related work experience is needed to perform the duties of a Support Analyst
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with PC, Server, Networking and routing equipment and related hardware and software. Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to deal effectively and tactfully with a broad range of senior management personnel, staff, external agencies and vendors. Welldeveloped collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Proven administrative, reasoning, technical, analytical, research and problem solving skills
  • Possess initiative, selfreliance, and a keen sense of responsibility, dedication, decisiveness in the performance of all duties
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines and respond to crisis/emergency situations
  • Able to work and manage responsibilities in a highpaced environment, adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and ongoing change
  • Ability to provide own transportation as required
