Accounts Payable Clerk.

What you will get to do:

  • Validate G/L coding and proper approval on all non-purchase order related vendor invoices.
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, minimizing interest charges and maximizing vendor discounts taken.
  • Match all vendor invoices, vendor packing slips, Maple Lodge Farms purchase orders, MLF receiver and correspondence to MLF checks issued accordingly.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of A/P issue log.
  • Scan, file and maintain Accounts Payable documents.
  • Communicate and effectively resolve Stakeholders inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assists in interim and yearend audit along with other audits as required.

Your education & experience matters to us:

  • Post Secondary Diploma required, preferable in Finance or Accounting.
  • Some hands on accounting experience required;
  • Analytical, with problemidentification and problemsolving capabilities;
  • Teamplayer with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work / excel in a fastpaced environment where attention to detail and effective multitasking is essential;
  • General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)
