Company Overview

Hi-Lon Glass is a service company that specializes in the repair or replacement of all makes and models of windows and doors. We have been servicing the commercial/residential market since 1968. Over the years, Hi-Lon has developed relationships with a large network of suppliers. This enables us to obtain parts for windows and doors that other service companies do not readily have access to. As a result, Hi-Lon is often able to repair problems for a reasonable price whereas many of our competitors can only replace entire units or systems.

We are looking for an experienced
Glazier to join our growing team

Duties and responsibilities

Cut glass, mirror and products to size.
Take accurate measurements using an imperial tape measure.
Install glass, screens, windows, thermal units, patio doors and steel doors with attention to details.
Install hardware for windows and doors.
Perform installation of weatherstripping and caulking on windows.
Uphold and enforce Hi-Lon company rules and procedures.
Perform informal workplace inspections daily.
Correct any substandard or unsafe conditions.
Supervise and mentor Glazier Apprentices.
Provide excellent customer service.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Effective time management, prioritization and multitasking skills to meet deadlines.
Energetic, selfmotivated, and resultsoriented.
Team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
A valid driver's license.
An acceptable driver's abstract.
An acceptable criminal records check.
Able to do heavy lifting (50lbs).
