Job Summary:

We are seeking to recruit a
HR Coordinator / Administrator to join our Fokker Elmo Canada team.

The position will be supporting our Programme Support Officer and the ongoing Final Assembly Line activities with one of our main customers in the Montreal area.

This opportunity provides a dynamically unique experience in an Aerospace milieu.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and be a proficient Microsoft user. You will be a team player able to work co-dependently with others in the team. The role will may include some international Travel to our Dutch sites.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparation and maintenance of employee files; conducting onboarding and orientation activities
  • Maintain training matrixes and scheduling of courses
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and auditing complete and accurate HR files and databases relating to all employment and benefitsrelated records
  • Coordinate and complete relevant country compliance requirements.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of data and reporting as required, including preparing reporting in PowerPoint for site HR teams / site leadership teams
  • Exemplify a safetyfirst mindset and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied and that their assigned areas are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment
  • Active involvement in problem solving

How You Will Contribute:


Essential

  • Bilingual
  • French and English
  • Qualified applicants must have a minimum of four years of fulltime administrative or human resources experience involving daily interaction with employees and managers Experience in scheduling and task management
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex and fastpaced environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate simply and effectively system requirements and operations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (incl. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to effectively work autonomously with the support of the site HR leadership team
