Reporting to the Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Change Leadership Consultant is responsible for providing internal consulting and leadership development services to business units, corporate programs, and projects.

Services include design, advice, guidance, facilitation, and coaching in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion, change management, training, engagement, project management, process improvement, individual performance, team performance and leadership development.

The Change Leadership Consultant's primary focus is on supporting the organization's culture change programs, process improvements and attaining expected change results.


The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conducts change management needs analysis for new organizational, divisional and business unit initiatives.
  • Provides advice to support corporate change initiatives and projects in the areas of culture change, change management, benefits driven project management, control and reporting systems, and process improvements.
  • Develops, facilitates and monitors the design, implementation, and ongoing assessment of various change programs/ initiatives.
  • Develops change and engagement plans, tools and procedures to advance change programs and initiatives.
  • Facilitates and supports the development of cultural, leadership, process and systems change interventions.
  • Develops and implements engagement strategies for strategic, corporate and information technology initiatives and programs.
  • Assesses program effectiveness and recommends program modifications/ enhancements.
  • Verifies alignment of corporate performance attainments.
  • Supports the design and delivery of corporate programs and initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's/Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, change management, performance management and program management.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in leadership development design and delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability in adapting to change and dynamic environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting culture change or diversity, equity and inclusion change management and program initiatives considered an asset.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional/ Leader (CHRP/ CHRL) is considered an asset.
  • Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of established change management models (e.g. John Kotter) and consulting processes (e.g. Peter Block)
  • Models customer focused approach in all decisions and actions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates ability to influence without authority, and drive results and take accountability in a highvolume/ fastpaced environment.
  • Leads by example and uses coaching and feedback to improve their own performance and decisionmaking.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal client groups and the Human Resources & Safety teams in order to enhance their ability to influence and consult on business processes, systems and functions.
  • Proactively looks for opportunities to improve processes within Talent Management and Culture, and other departments.
  • Excellent change management skills to add value to the business and support significant cultural changes.
Toronto Hydro has introduced a Hybrid Work Arrangement. This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs.

Employees will be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person.

You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
