Material Handler - North York, Canada - NWI Precision

Full Time - Afternoon shift 1:30pm start
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Attention to detail and ability to work with mínimal supervision

- Forklift: 2 years (required)
- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (required)
