Inventory Support - Peterborough, Canada - McCloskey International Ltd.

Description

The Inventory Support position will be responsible for organizing all raw steel and weldments as they move through the shop floor.

The position reports into the Inventory Management team under Purchasing and will be working with the Fabrication Supervisors to identify, organize and label raw material as well as WIP.

• Ensure all materials are identified and organized for ease of usage
• Ensure all material that has been operated on has been transacted against in EPICOR
• Organize and label materials
• Transport various materials by hand or by operating forklifts
• Communicate with various supply chain teams to ensure optimal process for material management
• Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials
• Inspect material handling equipment, structures, or materials to identify problems or defects
• Ensure work is carried out in a timely and safe manner

• Able to work effectively both as an individual and a team member.
• Able to perform tasks in multitemperature environments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labour
• Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system an asset
