    JOB SUMMARY:

    We are looking for a Key & Major Accounts Director to oversee, with a team of professionals, the relationship`s of the company with its key and major customers.

    You will be responsible for ensuring and enhancing positive, long term relationships with Key and Major Account customers. You will be able to facilitate mutually beneficial resolution of escalations of customer issues to key stakeholders.

    The ideal candidate will be apt in building & maintaining strategic relationships. You will be required to understand the quickly evolving needs of these important customers and advocate for or build new solutions that advance SaskPower's Energy Transition.

    The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


    • Lead a team of professionals and enhance relationships with a portfolio of key and major customers

    • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements

    • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously delivering services that meets their objectives

    • Responsible for negotiating and administering power supply contracts with Key Accounts customers

    • Ensure the correct products and services are developed and delivered to customers in a timely manner

    • Work with customers to resolve issues involving multiple stakeholders to enhance customer experience

    • Establish strong trusting relationships with provincial government entities and industry associations to advance solutions that encourage industry growth.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


    • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or other related equivalent AND/OR;

    • Related professional designation(s) and/or certification(s) AND/OR;

    • Ten (10) years of related experience in customer relationship management + major accounts representation

    • Direct leader of staff with the ability to foster and improve the long-term development and growth of a team of professionals

    • Ability to apply a strategic focus to all areas of responsibility and manage innovative departmental practices in a continually changing customer environment

    • Ability to impact and influence employee engagement while building and maintaining effective relationships

    • Results oriented and strategic thinker with the ability to negotiate and manage complex and confidential issues with extreme sensitivity and professionalism

    • Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation and teamwork

    • Demonstrated skill in SaskPower's competencies

    • Must have a continuing record of professional development

    Note:

    • Preference will be given to candidates with related experience in utility industry.

    • Regular travel throughout the province to meet with customers and stakeholders is a requirement to fulfill the requirements of the role.
