We cover multiple regional presences throughout Ontario (GTA, Barrie, Ottawa).

We are currently looking for a Site Supervisor with proven working experience in construction for our GTA location, with future opportunities to move to either location.


Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Trades; schedule and plan per closing date timelines.
  • Inspect construction sites thoroughly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
  • Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
  • Ensure all HSE requirements are respected according to risk assessment and safety manual and comply with Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.
  • Enforcing site safety rules to minimize workrelated accidents and injuries.
  • Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Communicate the scope of work to the PM/Supervisor effectively, in addition to clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Quantify and track all materials required for each project to ensure no overruns.
  • Analyzing blueprints ensuring construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
  • Recommend changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Correspond with Project Managers regarding all contract discrepancies or adjustments required, ensuring specialty materials are ordered in advance to meet deadlines.
  • Correspond with PM/Supervisor regarding all deficiencies, outstanding work orders, and final inspections (PDI).
  • Submit daily log/progress report to PM/Supervisor.

Site Supervisor Qualifications:

  • Current WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Protection Certificates

Skills:


  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of GTA and/or Southern Ontario municipality standards
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining safety and profitability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills and mental agility
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Drive
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Work within the project framework and adhere to all company guidelines and policies
  • Demonstrates leadership skills
  • Previous site super experience is required
Site Supervisor


Duties:


  • Oversee and manage construction projects at various sites
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and vendors
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
  • Review and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and change orders

Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision or related field
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction methods
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities

$77,776.00-$84,301.00 per year
