Open a new restaurant with us this spring The Table Nineteen brand is coming to Kelowna as part of an extensive clubhouse renovation at The Okanagan Golf Club.

Along with its other locations in Whistler and Victoria, Table Nineteen's cuisine excites and intrigues with globally balanced main and share plates - a refined culinary take with a sense of familiarity.

Clever house-made twists feature thoughtfully selected and locally available ingredients. Table Nineteen, with its spectacular golf course views, is estimated to open by May 2024.


We're looking to welcome a passionate, motivated and friendly Food and Beverage Services Manager to join our team and inspire connections in our stunning new restaurant.


Reporting to the golf course General Manager and joining our passionate Okanagan Golf Club leadership team, this year-round role is well supported and collaborates consistently with our Executive Chef and Event Managers - the depth of knowledge and years of experience within our existing service and culinary team is truly exceptional.


Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and lead the front of house, event, and on-course food and beverage teams
Work alongside and hands-on as needed to deliver restaurant, event, as well as refreshment cart and center service
Work cross-functionally with the Executive Chef and Event Managers to ensure that the Guest experience consistently exceeds expectations
Schedule, coordinate and train Team Members to ensure that service is according to the Department Service Standards
Enhance the Guest experience and maximize revenue with attention to ambience, suggestive selling and Team Member training; maintain a positive and professional approach
Prepare all necessary data for the budget and take corrective action where necessary to help assure that financial goals are met
Develop beverage pricing strategies with a wise product mix and presentation ideas to fit the dynamic market

5 years of experience in a supervisory/management restaurant role
Solid à la carte best practices understanding; event experience is an asset
High degree of administrative and executive ability, especially in terms of problem solving and decision making
Exceptional leadership, communication and strategic focus skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be able to keep calm and positive
Display emotional intelligence to convey and embody the GolfBC leadership standards
Organized and detail-oriented
Motivated to promote and showcase our brand new restaurant to Kelowna

$70,000 to $80,000 annual salary
