Job summary:
The role of Senior Support Technician at Venture involves technical support and troubleshooting with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, Azure AD/Entra identity management and networking. The technician will proactively monitor client systems using RMM tools ensuring patching backups security tools are addressed according to internal SLAs.Key responsibilities include conducting periodic environment assessments identifying opportunities for improvement contributing to technical projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations server network upgrades new site deployments firewall rollouts hardware refreshes. The technician is required to maintain accurate documentation within the PSA knowledge base follow MSP best practices SOPs ensure ticket handling escalations workflows meet expected SLA performance.
Required skills experience include strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Azure AD/Entra Windows Server networking experience with RMM PSA platforms hands-on experience common MSP tools excellent customer service communication time management skills nice-to-have certifications including Microsoft CompTIA Network+ Security+ Firewall ITIL Foundation.
