Our client pair the latest advances in oncology with machine learning to provide oncology professionals with the insights needed to inform targeted treatment decisions.

They are currently on the lookout for an
Clinical Molecular Geneticist in the Montreal or Vancouver area to take part in their laboratory team.


What you'll be accountable for

  • Sign out patient reports using our online portal.
  • Communicate with clinicians, pathologists, and other ordering physicians on the appropriateness of testing ordered, the interpretation of test results and the quality of the test results.
  • Be the clinical expert for genetic tests and ensure that reports of test results include pertinent information required for specific patient interpretation.
  • Contribute to the laboratory's research & development both improving current assays and in the development of other tools to improve cancer care.
  • Generate content for our reporting knowledge base
  • Assist in quality management and accreditation.
  • Plan and lead validation exercises.
  • Work closely and effectively with colleagues leading laboratorybased R&D, bioinformatics and software development.
  • Provide content expertise to support the marketing and business development teams.
  • Provide educational support to clients and partners on our assays and reporting software tools.
  • Assist partner laboratories in the validation and delivery of our assays.

About you
The person our team is looking to welcome

Education:You hold Ph.
D. in oncology, oncopathology or genetics with an in-depth understanding of the clinical and biological impact of oncogenomics.

Certification:CCMG or ABMGG certification

Industry experience:Prior experience working in a clinical setting.

Accuracy: Dedicated to precision accuracy in a regulated clinical environment.

Decision making: Ability to make informed or educated decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Presentation skills:Talent for delivering effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences.

Interpersonal skills:Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and non-verbal. You're considerate and have the ability to develop cooperative relationships with your team members.

Organizational skills: Have the ability to organize, set priorities and punctual in completing tasks.


Salary:
$130,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
