Program Manager - MS Dynamics ERP Implementation (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 12 months, possible extension
Location: Mississauga, ON, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Hybrid position, a few times / week onsite in Mississauga ON
The project:
Migrating existing Oracle ERP platform to a new ERP system - MS Dynamics. This is a multi-year initiative
MUST HAVES:
-Microsoft Dynamics 365 migration experience (ideally with exp. migrating from Oracle Financials). Manage ERP replacement program from start to finish.
-managing 2 major work streams -1) Financial 2) Project Operations piece, and numerous sub-streams
-experience working with vendors and integrators
-Budget Management: Manage the program budget, including forecasting, tracking - Budgets up to $4Million plus
excellent communication skills
excellent stakeholder management skills
Position Summary
We are embarking on a strategic initiative to replace our existing Oracle ERP platform with
a new ERP system.
For that purpose, we are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead this critical ERP
replacement program.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management,
vendor relations, and the ability to maintain a cohesive, integrated project plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project
Management, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, and 10 years of project
management experience
Experience with implementation of ERP systems, and familiarity with ERP systems.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders
in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. PMP or
equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Experience with budget management and financial forecasting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and resolve conflicts between diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Senior Solutions Consultant to bring expertise in ERP
implementations to achieve the program's outcomes and benefits.
Lead and coordinate definition of high-level program scope: future state design,
process changes, technical implementation, change management, training and
establishment of ongoing operations.
Program Leadership: Oversee the ERP replacement program from initiation to
closure, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between vendor, internal
teams, and the ERP implementation partner to ensure alignment and effective
communication.
Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles and ensure program activities are progressing
according to the planned schedule.
Integrated Project Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed project plan that
integrates the activities of all parties involved.
Budget Management: Manage the program budget, including forecasting, tracking
expenses, and ensuring the program remains within approved financial parameters.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the program's success and implement
strategies to mitigate these risks.
Vendor Management: Work closely with the ERP implementation partner and other
vendors to ensure their contributions are aligned with the program's goals.
Reporting: Coordinate integrated reporting from all involved parties and provide
regular updates to senior management and all stakeholders about the program's
progress, challenges, and outcomes.
