We are currently looking to recruit Journeyperson & Apprentice Iron Workers to join our team for work in Nisku, AB.
Responsibilities:
Working from elevated work platform or scissor lift equipment;
Working connecting structural steel and module components bolt-up;
Hoisting structural steel and components into position with cranes;
Rigging with slings, come-a-longs, turfors and chainfalls;
Reading and interpreting assembly drawings;
Following company safety procedures and safe work practices;
Completing individual daily hazard assessments.
Requirements:
Certified journeyperson or apprenticeship program;
3-5 years of experience in Ironworking and building erection;
SCOT or CSTS-09;
Valid fall protection ticket and ability to work at heights;
Valid telehandler (zoom boom) ticket;
Valid areal work platform ticket;
Physically fit for outdoor work.
