    The opportunity

    As an HR Operational Support Coordinator you play an integral part in delivering the employee experience. Fostering and enhancing relationships by supporting processes and administration for the HR Business Partner teams and their business groups are key focuses. Your natural ability to continuously improve processes, systems and communication will drive your success in this collaborative and diverse role.

    Working closely with the HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, you will ensure the entire life cycle of the employee is management thoughtfully and efficiently. Additional focuses will include rewards and recognition programs, annual HR programs and being a front-line resource for employees.

    Make an impact by ensuring excellence in service to our business leaders and employee by helping to reduce operational risk.

    What you'll be doing
    • Client focused. Service driven. Trusted partner.
    • Provide administrative support within the required service level agreement to the assigned business partner portfolio as a means of directly supporting the organization with their employee needs.
    • Act as a key resource to the organization and hiring managers by supporting the on-boarding process.
    • Provide guidance and support across HR for Workday transaction processing.
    • Support the Talent Acquisition team through Workday and recruitment support activities.
    • Maintain various trackers to manage out of system needs including compensation, vacation, and other employee impacting tasks.
    • Conduct employment verification requests from external organizations as required.
    • Contribute to the various rewards and recognition programs within HR such as: Pillars of Excellence, Service Awards, Teal Champion Program, and other HR lead employee initiatives.
    • Provide recommendations for process enhancements to the various programs.
    • Enhance the employee experience through service execution in these programs.
    • Provide training and guidance on Workday to ensure transactions are processed accurately and within the prescribed service level agreement.
    • Maintain and administer various tasks and programs within HR Operational Support.
    • Act as a key contact for relevant third party vendors.
    • Ensures all administrative tasks within HR are completed on time and accurately including supply orders and employee file management.
    • Support various projects across the HR Partnerships and Programs group and the broader HR team both from an administrative perspective as well as in a project member capacity where appropriate.


    Who we're looking for & what you've done

    Education & Experience
    • Some post secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration

    • Excellent command of MS Office products, notably Excel
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or related field.
    • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment managing conflicting priorities.
    • Experience in project work, stakeholder engagement and communications.

    • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

    • Attention to detail with a focus on solutions, results, and continuous improvement.
    • Innate sense of urgency and flexibility.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities.
