Description

Our company Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to Fortune 100 & 500 IT/Telco companies across Canada and the US. We are currently helping our construction management consulting client hire a Construction Estimator for their growing team.

Collect all pertinent documents, including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications
Meeting with clients and inspecting the construction sites to understand what work is required fully
Collecting multiple quotes for each of these and then selecting the most suitable offers
Perform risk assessments to account for potential deviations from the project plan
Must have experience determining the amount of all materials needed (take off)
Experience managing large budgets

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical engineering, Architecture, or similar
Qualification in project management is highly advantageous
Must have experience as a construction estimator
Strong ability to forecast the cost of highticket, involved in building developments
Must be dependable, conscientious, and well spoken
