How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?:

The main object and purpose of this position is to provide support to the Metal Fabrication team and regions through the analysis of our business results and our markets in order to identify opportunities for growth and business improvement.

The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting the development of customer-centric strategies through in-depth analysis of market data and customer information.

Generates Management Reports:Using various internal sources of information ( R12, OBIEE, Salesforce) as well as external sources (market data, Google Analytics), the business analyst generates structured and ad-hoc reports. These reports may be requested by the Metal Fabrication Team or may be generated by the incumbent who identified an activity of interest to the team. The reports may include topics such as market trends, profitability analysis, customer service level measurement, asset deployment studies, etc. The business analyst will ensure the information pulled into reports is accurate and will cross-reference as need be.

Data Analysis:Use our large data warehouse to explain our results and orient our future actions. Acquires sufficient business understanding to be able to interpret the reports and generate conclusions or recommendations for action. Develops expertise to link analysis and results to the business issues. Communicates a compelling summary of findings to reach decision making and move to action. Demonstrates good collaboration skills to work as a team with the regions and support teams.

Project Justification and follow up:Participate in new initiatives review and justification. Lead market analysis portion and coordinate brainstorming efforts with the region. Drafting of CPR and RIC documents (if required) with supporting financial analysis.

Program accounting / tools & reports:Provide support to the program/product managers in setting Oracle system parameters for new programs resulting in a smooth flow in the system. Develop performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to follow evolution, results and helps identify gaps or opportunities to improve. Seeks solutions and is action driven to improve results.

Process improvement:Works in cooperation with his team and multifunctional teams to continuously improve work processes. Analyzes his activities, identifies the causes of problems and proposes adapted corrective measures.

Safety:Is responsible for promoting ALC's safety. Ensures respect of ALC policies and procedures. Responsible for data integrity.

Are you a MATCH?:

Diploma:Bachelor's degree in Business administration (marketing, finance or accounting)

Experience:3 to 5 years in a similar position.
