Senior Manager, Maintenance Information Systems

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:_
- Coordinate with the planning and purchasing department to evaluate risks, setup customer contract and complete all applicable digital workflows;
- Data analyze man hour progress reports, resolve discrepancies and perform quality control checks on completed task cards actual hours;
- Run clock in and clock out reports for contractors for cost reports to compare with hours populated into work orders;
- Monitor in progress task cards for man hour trends against estimated hours and liaise with maintenance staff to improve efficiency as needed to meet contractually required performance;
- Review all statement of works (SOW) for third party checks and external Aircraft Maintenance Organizations checks ensuring cost is monitored within the applicable signed contract;
- Track part order journey process at a high level and run issued parts reports for all HMV/LMV internal & external;
- Organize and attend meetings with engineering, production and stores/purchasing to analyze work load and provide technical feedback on outstanding issues and required parts;
- Liaise with senior management for employee scheduling and planning;
- Liaise with the Finance & Payroll department for all costing reports/budgets/invoices associated with aircraft & power plant projects;
- Assist in the preparation of estimated expense and capital budgets and account for deviations from the budget;
- Other duties as required.
- SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:_
- Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:_
- Four (4) years of previous relevant experience;
- Four (4) years of post secondary education;
- Knowledge of Maintenance aviation data and trend analysis;
- Understand critical path, parallel path, dependent/independent path, Gantt charts, and an extensive knowledge of project management and general project flow charts;
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project) and familiar with TRAX software;
- Ability to maintain a professional manner with contract vendors who perform vendor maintenance and manufacture;
- Must be able to communicate corporate needs and expectations in describing the work scope, negotiate pricing, and assess vendor performance;
- Ability to communicate in Inuktut a definite asset;
- Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
