Description
Set up and maintain plant equipment and machinery. Ensure that all machinery operates in safe and efficient manner. Perform basic set ups/changeovers for packaging and process equipment with focused work centers or line including cleaning as required.Must be able to work with equipment such as Rotary filling machine(Biner Ellison, Horix), Inline filling machine(MRM), caper(Kaps All), labelling machine(Labelling technologies), date coder, taping machine, conveyor belt, Diaphragm pump, Rotary pump, motors, piping etc.
Requisition of parts and material for production department. Daily start up and shut down of all production lines. Notify operation Manager for any broken, damaged or defective parts. Initiate trouble shooting of mechanical system. Ability to identify, correct and prevent machinery and equipment failure. Recommend production to improve efficiency. Participate in weekly production schedule. Participate in Safety committee. Knowledge of WHMIS.Qualification:
Must have at least five years of hands on experience in above mentioned equipment. Ready to take on the job. Millwright certificate is an asset but not required.
Working hours: 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Thursday
Salary:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Industrial mechanic: 5 years (preferred)
