What You'll Do:


The Operations Supervisor manages warehouse shipping, receiving, and replenishment activities and team to ensure that all functions are performed within the distribution center and in accordance with Company policy.


  • Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly shift activities as required to provide timely fulfillment and shipping of all orders
  • Manage accurate unloading and put away of product in a timely basis to ensure containers are returned without additional charges and are 100% accurate
  • Manage the outbound loading of all orders to ensure on time and in full shipments, while working closely with traffic supervisor to complete efficiently and accurately
  • Manage WMS functions and ensure all are being completed in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Determine proper staffing levels within the functional area based on the volume and type of work to be completed daily and make recommendations.
  • Assist in the management of the temporary staffing plans on a daily basis to ensure adequate resources are available to execute the necessary activities (production; unloading containers, etc), while optimizing productivity and costs
  • Manage costs within budget, and as agreed with the Sr. Director of North America Operations
  • Maintain and enforce appropriate policies and procedures to ensure accurate information is recorded in Oracle in a timely manner
  • Monitor and measure daily, weekly and monthly performance against established metrics
  • Compile periodic reporting on all shift activities
  • Analyze all shift activities and propose cost savings improvements
  • Provide a safe work environment, and enforce all company and governmental safety rules and policies
  • Maintaining the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Other duties may be assigned up to and including working on the warehouse floor to ship on time and in full

Bring It

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable experience preferred
  • 57 years managing multiple functions within a manufacturing or distribution facility. Specifically coordinating order picking and stockkeeping functions
  • Prior experience managing 100,000 sq. ft. distribution facility
  • Demonstrated knowledge of good warehouse practices and principles
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
