The Operations Support Supervisor is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the Distribution Centre as well as the reporting functions for the Operations Team.

Responsibilities:


  • Managing Quality Assurance and Warehouse Administration teams by providing leadership, direction, training and goal setting. Working closely with team members to ensure overall goals are being achieved.
  • Responsible for executing strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Monitoring, analyzing and reporting various metrics, continuously strategizing to improve productivity and performance.
  • Working closely with the Inventory Control Manager and Shift Managers to work through customer service related issues.
  • Serving as the point of escalation for the team.
  • Developing and monitoring key performance indicators for the Replenishment, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse Administration functions in the Distribution Centre.
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities.
  • Other Duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

Must Haves

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in a management role
  • Completion of postsecondary education in a related field
  • Proven ability to manage others including active communication, training, motivation, and coaching and/or disciplinary measures as required
  • Broad range of experience in project management, business planning, process analysis, and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills; ability to convey messages in an organized, clear, and effective manner
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a high volume, fastpaced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build positive relationships with team members
  • Ability to produce accurate work as a result of attention to detail

  • Previous experience with ERP systems
