    Description
    Our client, a global manufacturer currently requires a Millwright.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and replacing components for industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Equipment can include bucket elevators, screw conveyors, rotating equipment, ball mills, classifiers, and pumps.
    • Reading and translating diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
    • Inspecting, investigating, and troubleshooting defects and malfunctions as per the work management policies of the company.
    • Completing minor fabrication work as necessary, as well as rigging.
    • Performing preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration in a timely fashion and keeps accurate maintenance records, completing the required paperwork.
    • Supervising and guiding the work of millwright apprentice(s) when they are working with on a job.
    • Working safely, following all local laws and company policies, and reports any health and safety concerns to supervisor.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Trade certified 433A license, with a Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship
    • 5-10 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial environment
    • Must be capable of lifting to 50lbs.
    • Experience with MIG and Stick welding.
    • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressors is required, with some knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
    • Good computer skills with basic CAD skills
    • Proactive on health and safety concerns

    The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
    • Able to analyze and solve problems in an efficient and effective manner.
    • Works accurately with numbers and can complete basic drawing of machine parts as required.
    • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    • Good computer skills
    • Experience working in cement, glass, mining, metals, or related heavy industries preferred.
