Job summary
The Journeyman Structural Ironworker/Welder will work with a small crew of Ironworkers at various Oil Sands Sites and will report to the Ironworker Foreman.The role involves reading blueprints and specifications to lay out the work, erecting and installing structural steel systems, unloading and stacking materials, positioning steel members, assembling rigging to move heavy equipment and materials, working with and signaling cranes/heavy equipment, assisting with shop and/or field fabrication/installation of structural steel and related materials,
diligently adhering to all relevant OH&S requirements ensuring in-house safety regulations are complied with.
- CWB welding certification required.
- Must possess a Journeyperson Ironworker or Welder ticket.
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
