Objective
- The train movements are monitoring and controlling for Train Traffic operations, Power Management and Security Services Management are performed using by ICC (Integrated Control Center) System, by receiving information and sending control the from/to Interlocking System, Automatic Train Control System, SCADA System, Security Services and Other interfaces like Passenger information system.
- The Project ICC Design Leader is part of the Project Engineering Team. They are responsible to deliver the system or subsystem approved by the customer, respecting the project QCD, during the project life cycle.
Responsibilities
ICC System includes 3 subsystems:
Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), SCADA and Security System.
The ICC Design Leader main responsibilities are:
- Be accountable to deliver ICC QCD commitments.
- Be the direct technical interface with the customer for ICC Engineering
- Provide ICC functional and architecture specification, ICC detailed design and ICC interface specifications. Provides corrections during and until customer acceptance
- Make sure technical design is consistent and aligned with Alstom Product and Specific Gap identified
- Contribute to the definition of the functional validation phase of the subsystem (Integration & Validation (I&V) and FIVP Factory Integration & Validation Plan)
- Ensure that all domain / metier activities follow applicable methods & tools
- Make communication with customers and ensure ICC documentation are approved
- Support Subsystem Manager to ensure full transparency of ICC Engineering Work Package (WP), QCD performance (including physical progress)
- Follow the monthly review cycle with Subsystem Manager, highlighting main variances against the Project Engineering QCD commitment, initiating corrective actions, and immediately informing the Subsystem Manager and Projects Engineering Domain/Metier department head where major deviations are detected.
- If the ICC scope changes, support Subsystem Manager in Project Engineering QCD commitment variations with the Project Controller
- Follow and participate in Risk and Savings Reviews for their scope. Provide inputs to Subsystem Manager
Performance measurements
- Project QCD objectives.
- Project Specification delivered on time, and approval status.
- Project Requirements maturity (traceability & coverage of requirements).
Educational Requirements
BS Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline
P. Eng certification or in progress
Experience
Experience in Signaling Integrated Control Center project management, ATS, Cybersecurity, CBTC / ATLAS
7-10 years of experience in architecture (design document, UML), development
C++, C#, JAVA
IP, OPC DA, OPC UA Protocol, xml, GTFS-RT, BIG DATA
Knowledge of Cybersecurity
DOORS, Clearquest
SCRUM
Competencies & Skills
Good verbal and written English communication skills
QCD Management (in particular ability to lead transversaly engineeirng teams)
Customer Technical Management
Ability to work transversally with engineering teams
