About Bite Brands
Bite Brands is a fast-growing hospitality platform behind Dave's Hot Chicken in Canada and Forest Hill Farmhouse. We are building a modern restaurant group that blends strong brand storytelling, disciplined operations, and data-driven growth.
With 23 restaurants open to date and aggressive expansion plans across Canada, we are looking for a Director / Head of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function from the ground up—driving strategy, execution, and measurable sales impact across our portfolio.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the marketing engine of a high-growth restaurant platform at an inflection point.
The Role
The Director of Marketing will own end-to-end marketing across Bite Brands. This leader will set the strategic direction while also rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns, manage content, and build scalable systems.
You will drive topline revenue, traffic, and brand equity across multiple concepts—balancing national brand strategy with high-impact local store marketing. You'll lead digital growth (Meta, TikTok, CRM), experiential activations, and new store openings, while building the foundation for a future marketing team.
This role reports to the President and works cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Construction, and external partners and vendors.
What You'll Own
Brand & Strategy
- Develop and execute the overarching marketing strategy across Dave's Hot Chicken Canada and Forest Hill Farmhouse.
- Refine brand positioning and messaging to drive strong brand affinity in the Canadian market.
- Translate business objectives into integrated marketing plans that drive traffic, frequency, and same-store sales growth.
- Partner with leadership on annual planning, promotional calendars, and go-to-market strategies.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Own paid digital channels with deep hands-on expertise in Meta and TikTok Ads (creative strategy, testing frameworks, ROAS optimization).
- Oversee performance marketing across paid social, Google, SEO/SEM, and emerging platforms.
- Build and manage CRM, loyalty, and lifecycle marketing strategies (email, SMS, guest segmentation).
- Drive digital sales growth through first-party ordering, delivery partnerships, and data capture initiatives.
- Leverage analytics to optimize spend, measure incrementality, and improve ROI.
Local Store & Experiential Marketing
- Develop scalable local store marketing playbooks for new openings and existing restaurants.
- Lead experiential and community-based marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and grassroots engagement.
- Build partnerships with local organizations, influencers, and community groups.
- Own grand opening strategies and event-based activations that translate to measurable sales impact.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Finance to align marketing investments with ROI and P&L performance.
- Partner with Operations to ensure marketing programs are executable at the restaurant level.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience in QSR, retail, or high-growth consumer brands.
- Experience in both high-growth environments and structured organizations is preferred.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Meta and TikTok advertising platforms.
- Strong understanding of CRM, loyalty, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proven success leading experiential/local marketing initiatives that drive measurable sales.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort owning budgets and understanding marketing impact on P&L.
- Experience launching new locations or managing multi-unit restaurant marketing is a strong asset.
- Entrepreneurial, builder mentality—you are comfortable creating structure where none exists.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
