We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Shipping & Receiving employee who will prioritize managing our daily shipping and receiving tasks.

When shipping and receiving duties are complete, the role will support our shop floor operations by handling general labour tasks, including operating machinery like saws and drill presses.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage all shipping and receiving operations, including packaging, documentation, and coordination with carriers.
• Ensure accurate inventory control and organization of materials.
• Operate industrial machinery and equipment during nonpeak shipping/receiving hours.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist with material handling, product assembly, and other general labour tasks as needed.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and keep a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience operating industrial machinery; familiarity with saws and drill presses is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Forklift certification and a strong understanding of safety management preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Flexibility for occasional overtime to meet business demands.

Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
