Description

District Bar Restaurant is a premium casual gastro lounge with a scratch kitchen serving the busy stadium, entertainment and Yaletown community.

We are hiring a full time Cook 2.

Job Summary

• Assisting Head Chef/Sous Chef in preparation of all meals
• Working independently on the line (garde manger, fryer, grill, entree)
• Maintain, uphold sanitation and food safety handling

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years progressive kitchen experience
• Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff
• Valid Food Safe certification or provincial equivalent
• Ability to manage with a high level of attention to detail
• Availability to work evenings/weekends and holidays

Compensation Package
- competitive hourly rate; starting rate to be determined by level of experience
