- Arterial line insertion, Tracheostomy tube management, and oxygen therapy assessments/management.
- Identifying and meeting the educational needs of patients and families.

Description
West Park Healthcare Centre is dedicated to helping patients with recovery through inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services in specialized Rehabilitation and Complex care following life-altering conditions like lung disease, amputation, stroke, and musculoskeletal trauma.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) plays a crucial role in conducting thorough respiratory assessments and creating management plans for patients with respiratory conditions.
Our RRTs are essential frontline healthcare providers offering respiratory therapy services around the clock, collaborating with various interdisciplinary teams within the Center.
Current enrollment with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO). Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Must possess current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification, while Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is advantageous. Membership in CSRT/RTSO is a plus.
Accountabilities:
RRTs will also engage in student supervision and provide education to external partners with a flexibility to work varying schedules (days, evenings, nights, and weekends).
