Today the company owns and manages an international real estate portfolio that includes commercial and residential properties, hotels, golf courses, vineyards and blueberry and cranberry farms.

In addition to its ongoing pursuits in real estate development and construction, AG has expanded its holdings to include assets in the sports & entertainment, renewable energy, aquaculture, tourist attractions, restaurants and food & beverage industries.


JOB SUMMARY:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


(Other duties may be assigned from time to time)

  • Assist the Director of Residential Properties in the effective oversight and management of Aquilini Centre and other residential properties and property management team.
  • Ensure day to day tenant relations are maintained at a high level and resolve service requests and issues in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
  • Manage all aspects of the daily operations by liaising with staff in areas such as accounting, leasing, community, building operations, etc.
  • Provide effective support conducting Property Management policies, procedures and operations.
  • Review rent rolls and financial information.
  • Manage 3rd party contractors and tendering.
  • Provide afterhours tenant relations and be 2nd in line for emergency calls and first as needed.
  • Assist in managing new inventory pricing and implement marketing programs with leasing staff.
  • Develop recommendations and implement necessary building operations and logistics protocols.
  • Adhere to established residential rental office policies including lease agreements, notices, internal organization, filing, office & building policies, electronic databases, etc.
  • Track and maintain maintenance schedules and assist as needed.
  • Prepare dispute resolution evidence packages and attend hearings.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 35 years' experience in residential property management and an established track record of ensuring high standards of operations.
  • Good understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act and real estate administration.
  • Experience with Yardi or comparable property management software.
  • Degree or diploma in commerce or related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional customerservice and communication skills are a must
  • Self starter with a positive and professional work ethic and attitude.
  • Effective conflict resolution/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills/proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Automobile is necessary for travel to properties from time to time.
