Armour Alloys is a flat-rolled specialty metals distributor based out of Cambridge. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at our brand new facility.

This Administrative Assistant role is responsible for the effective execution of clerical duties as assigned. This includes responsibility for providing assistance and support to varying levels of staff and completing administrative tasks as assigned.


The Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Performing reception duties including phone and switchboard operation, greeting visitors and directing any questions or information to the appropriate departments or staff.
  • Completing financial and accounting duties where applicable and assigned, including invoicing and A/R follow up
  • Supporting all staff with administrative tasks as applicable and assigned, including sorting, filing, scanning and reviewing documents, creating reports and scheduling of document or sample shipping (UPS, DHL etc.)
  • 13 years of experience in an administrative assistant or reception position
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent ability to think critically and problem solve
  • Effective communication skills verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
