Job Description:


Reporting to the Director, Payroll and Benefit Operations, the Analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of assigned payrolls and supporting other payroll initiatives, including year-end activities and reconciliation of benefits and pension.

This is a 6 month contract role.


Payroll Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process transactions for international payrolls on a biweekly or monthly basis with support on off cycle runs as needed
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate payroll records
  • Assist compliance and audit reporting
  • Support project work as assigned
  • Support payroll team in providing quarterly, monthly, and annual reports to various teams across HR
  • Support compensation yearend payroll and special payrolls which can include retroactive payments, incentive, and deferred incentive payments

Benefits and Pension Administration Responsibilities

  • Support benefits administration, maintain records and billings for group benefits per assigned locations
  • Support enrolling, changes, and terminations with pension providers for assigned locations
  • Support the annual compensation review and update employee records with all vendors

General Responsibilities

  • Support questions received in our Payroll/Benefits/Pension inbox in a manner that ensures employee satisfaction
  • Participate in systems implementations related to payroll, benefits, and pension by defining requirements, preparing test plans, and documenting test results
  • Document and maintain business user guides and prepare checklists for various systems and processes, including training material
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

  • Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities
  • Very detailed oriented with a superior track record of achieving high quality results
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics, and data validation
  • Prior experience with India, United Kingdom, Hong Kong or USA payroll will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency with various payroll software and programs, including ADP Workforce Now, ADP Streamline and Workday is considered an asset
  • Collaborate across the organization and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think 'outside the box'
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels internally and with external partner
  • Able to identify opportunities, take initiative and think through future implications
  • Previous experience working with and reporting from HR information systems
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under pressure and with timesensitive deadlines
