Opportunity
The ReStore General Manager plays a crucial role in achieving sales targets, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
The General Manager is a key player in the success of the retail operations, requiring a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to ensure the store's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales and profitability goals.
- Prepare and manage the store budget, ensuring costeffectiveness and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring a high level of competency and customer service.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Maintain a customercentric approach, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
- Oversee the visual merchandising of products to enhance the store's aesthetic appeal and maximize sales
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Generate and analyze reports related to sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
Core Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of achieving sales targets
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and financial reporting
- Experience in a nonprofit or similar environment is advantageous
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with HFH Halton-Mississauga staff members, volunteers and members of the community
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Pay:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- French (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
