Description
Subcool Mechanical is currently looking for experienced Apprentice Plumbers/Gasfitters to work in various locations remotely.


Wage:
$22.00-$44.00/hour dependent on experience


Location:
Vancouver, Fort McKay, Yukon, Nunavut


Start Date:
Immediately


Rotation: 21 days on, 7 days off


What We Offer:

Role Responsibilities:


  • Installation and service of remote camps
  • Installation of PVC/HDPE pipe
  • AVS Drain knowledge
  • Gas line knowledge
  • Diagnose, install and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water drainage systems
  • Test facilities for leaks
  • Ensure that local and provincial safety regulations are met
  • Maintenance of A/C units
  • Replace any products or equipment that do not meet current safety regulations

Role Requirements:


  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work together as part of a team alongside others
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Journeyman/Journeywoman Ticket preferred
  • Valid Driver's License preferred
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Ability to depart Edmonton, Alberta.

Salary:
$20.50-$44.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime
