If you answered yes, look no further The Nut & Bolt Group is currently seeking an entry level Human Resources Generalist who can provide comprehensive support of the day-to-day operations of human resources.

The HR Generalist provides an employee focused and effective HR support service to the organization across multiple locations to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Recruitment

Onboarding

  • Generate and present offers to selected applicants, communicate with new hires and coordinate with support teams and managers to ensure a stellar first day experience.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide guidance on Benefits and Pension programs.

Employee Care & Administration

  • Maintain all electronic employee files with complete accuracy.
  • Perform HRMS audits and verification of data integrity of all HRMS entries.
  • Recordkeeping and system maintenance for all private personnel data.
  • Provide monthly HRMS reports to president and managers
  • Update organizational charts for management use.
  • Liaise with Payroll to complete all payroll management.
  • Manage all administration related to WCB, disability, benefit programs, pensions, etc
  • Perform employee requests such as employment letters and assistance in benefits claims.
  • Prepare source documentation needed for new hires and effective changes in pay, status, or benefits.
  • Initiate and support various HR projects.
  • Organize and execute employee events, bbqs, social activities, snack program
  • Act as safety officer as needed
  • Provide guidance regarding relevant training
  • Assist with discipline related issues as required; provide sound guidance regarding best practices in accordance to legislations and internal policies
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Certificate or diploma in Human Resources field, or working toward
years of experience supporting HR functions preferably in a medium sized business.

  • Impeccable judgment and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to advise on sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrate and maintain strict confidentiality of data and information.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant federal, provincial employment and human rights laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Flexible, friendly, and independent.
  • Ability to travel to other branches as needed
  • Competency in MS Office suite of tools.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$54,000.00 per year
