    Description

    We are a cross functional team of engineers, scientists,marketers, designers and product managers that deliver the insights,algorithms, internal systems and tools, and user-facing experiences thatfuel Stripe's growth.

    As part of the Growth Engineering team, you will build and own thesystems, products, internal tools, and customer-facing experiences thatpower intelligence behind our go-to-market and product-led growth.

    Thisincludes building our ML powered recommendations and growth experimentationengine(s), multi-channel notifications systems, and key growth-relatedcustomer experiences (e.g., What you'll doResponsibilitiesPartner closely with other engineers and scientists to build highlyscalable, ML driven system(s), help run experiments, and surface insightsacross all points of customer interactions.

    Create beautiful web surfaces and interactive dashboard experiencesusing technologies such as React, JavaScript, CSS and GraphQL. Build theAPIs that power these experiences, defining composable data models anddurable interfaces.
    Scope, design, and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork forearly-stage products to iteratively evolve and scale.
    Interact with product and business leaders to help develop and executeon a data-first growth strategy that scales with Stripe.

    You are an expert at building web applications using HTML, CSS, and atleast one JavaScript framework like , AngularJS have implemented server-side APIs in dynamic languages like Ruby,working with document and relational datastores (especially Mongo andMySQL).Preferred Qualifications Experience with machine learning, recommender systems, product-ledgrowth, and/or lifecycle marketing.

    Hybrid work at StripeThis role is available either in an office or a remote location(typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given monthin their local office or with users.

    A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56kilometers) or more from one of our offices.

    While you would be welcome tocome into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, andevents, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than aStripe office.

    Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remotelocation.

    For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On TargetEarnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes boththe sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for therole.
