Job Description:


We are looking for experienced heavy equipment operators to work directly on site for our clients' projects and operational needs.

You would be working in an open pit mine operating heavy equipment while adhering to our safety standards.

This opportunity is a Fly in, Fly out position with positions starting immediately. Flights to/from Calgary or Edmonton or busing out of Fort McMurray is provided in addition to camp accommodation._**
What would you be doing?

  • Operating a Haul Truck or other heavy equipment in an open pit mine.
  • Operating assigned heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Understanding and adhering to all policies, procedures and standards.
  • Participating in all safety and culture building programs.
  • Training on new equipment when requested.

Does this sound like you?

  • Valid driver's license with 3 years drivers abstract with less than 6 demerits required.
  • Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or willingness to obtain one
  • Minimum of 2000 hours of work experience operating the following:773 or larger Haul Truck, or Articulating Truck
  • Diverse Heavy Equipment experience considered an asset including any combination of Dozer, Excavator, Grader and Rock Truck experience.
  • Must be willing to consider travelling to Fort McMurray to complete and pass a simulator assessment.
  • Open Pit Mining experience considered an asset.
  • High school diploma and/or postsecondary degree considered an asset.

  • Competitive Total Compensation Pay starting from $34$45/hr based on your experience and site
  • Benefits after 300 hours.
  • 7/7 schedule
  • 12 hrs/day
  • Camp position
  • Monthly incentives of $850 (to eligible team members)

  • This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing, audiogram, and mask fit testing._
